Wikipedia

Can we start using wikipedia now for our studies? It's not like we don't use it anyway.

Read the news here.

On another note...

If you had to write an 3000-word essay, can you just put 3 pictures as a picture is worth a thousand words?

It is a long bridge you have there. I have a long bridge included in my post, too.

I thought the comment spot I was clicking on was for the Wikipedia thoughts. I always let the kids (Middle School) use Wikipedia as ONE of their resources--as long as they verified the information in another source. I eschewed Wikipedia for a long time, until I found myself using it more and more often for quick basic information. Then I happened to be looking up something about the neighboring town. Among the famous people who had come from there--an astronaut and someone else famous whom I now forget, some dude had added "--- ---- graduated from S---High school in 2002." Hmmm. The phantom editor is back.

Sorry for the threadjack. I just had to jump in on that one.

hehe.. as a university student, basic information does come from wikipedia. don't know what i'll do without it. But i can't cite wikipedia as reference so have to find other reliable references. but it's a good place to start
